The Force Wants Calls You to Become a Police Officer

September 9th, 2009

We dreamed of becoming superheroes and saving the world when we were young and idealistic. Tying blankets around our necks, we would start a row with the bullies in our neighbourhood. All grown up and still holding on to that idealism, we no longer think that capes and X-ray visions can save the world. There are bullies but we do not possess special powers to defeat them. We are not left powerless, though, because we can be a police officer and help put them behind bars. You, no matter how ordinary you look at yourself at this moment, can still do something to save the world from bullies or bad guys.

Our world has become the breeding ground of criminals that our police officers are never enough to keep things in order. With every criminal caught, two or more seems to keep on cropping up. To encourage more people to join the police force in stopping crimes and upholding the law, police recruitment is being promoted. If you are still nursing that dream of becoming a crime buster then you are encouraged to make that dream into reality now more than ever.

Britain was reported to have the worst crime rate in Europe by the European Commission. Britain ranked 13th with a murder rate of 1.49 per 100,000 people making it rank higher than France, Spain and Italy. There are 164 robberies committed per 100,000 in Britain making it rank fifth in the European Union. These records were calculated on a three year average from 2005-2007 and was based on the crimes committed per 100,000 people. It was enough to convince UK that more people should become a police officer in order to prevent the crimes from further escalating. Maybe the data is a reflection that the police force is outnumbered by criminals. If there are more dedicated people on the force then maybe the time will come when there will no longer be criminals.

Now you might have apprehensions having heard from others that the application to become a police officer can be quite difficult. It can be true for most people since majority of those who apply every year are rejected. You do not have to worry about it, though, if you are serious about becoming a police officer because the police recruitment staff will help you. They have posted information on how you should get started online.

Be among those who pass every stage with flying colours by being well-informed. By putting much effort in looking for information related to becoming a police officer then you are guaranteed to pass. They say “If there’s a will, there’s a way” so find a way to realize your dream to be a police officer. Unleash the superhero in you. Of course you would be wearing a uniform instead of a costume and you would be driving a police mobile instead of patrolling high up in the sky but sense of being a superhero is still there. Help maintain peace and order and help your loved ones be safe from harm.
