The Habits Of The Highly Effective, Successful, and Wealthy

May 5th, 2009

By John Cristaldi

There is an adage saying that the best way to succeed is to follow who succeeded. These are the most common characteristics of the wealthy who are successfull. Here are the ideal features and examples of the successfully wealthy. 1.) The Successfully Wealthy admit to themselves that they do need support and help. 2.) They are continuing and unwavering to succeed. It even takes them on numerous attempts before they finally achieve thier goal. 3.) They are totally motivated to reach thier goal. They finally decided to accomplish all that is needed to overcome the obstacles in order to reach thier goal, without any chances of quitting.

4.) They are very determined to bear the inconvenience of the adjustments of the initial process of doing whatever it takes, knowing that they would be rewarded the benefits of success and wealth. 5.) The effective successful fully believe that they do have a choice and the capacity to reach any goal because they believe in themselves. 6.) Effective successful people know and understand the advantages and benefits of consistant progress. Doing something each and every day adds up to a great deal over time and they discipline themselves to do so. 7.) The successful wealth set a certain date for every goal. Once they already set that date, they stop making lame excuses to further extend thier goal.

8.) The successful are honest and sincere with themselves and refuse to make excuses, that the ‘excuse’ of quitting only drives them harder. They understand and realize the realities of quitting and how that will never enable them to reach thier goal. 9.) The successfully wealth normally have friends to support them. There may be family to help them as well. 10.) The successful also reward themselves for their sacrifices. They look at their achievements as stepping stones. 11.) The successful refuse to go back to their old ways. They ultimately decided to throw away their unwillingness to work hard, their old mindset, their excuses and any other things that might remind them of their unsuccessful ways.

They also let their families and loved ones to know that they would like them to be apart of thier successes. They have created for themselves the sheer guts and spirit to become successful. 12.) In their effort and pursuit to finally put an end to their past, they make use of proven mental techniques such as motivational methods to be more effective. 13.) The successful also help others to achieve success and wealth. They cultivate and build a sense of duty and friendship to share their improvement with other people, because they were once like them, theyÂ’ve been there before, so they understand what they are going through.

But some people who are not as successful, on the other hand, usually ask– What is in it for me?” 14.) The successful people accept and acknowledge their own errors and they are determined to change for their own betterment. They assume full responsibility and accountability for their lack of success. They donÂ’t blame it on their families, friends, and the media or anything else for that matter. Just the one in the mirror. 15.) And most importantly, no matter what other situation they may be in, the successful never takes being down as a final answer. Once you know how to be successful, you’ll always know how. They know and understand too well of what it’s like to be down and out. They’ve pulled themselves out of it before and by god, they can do it again and again if they have to.

Self Catering Cornwall Enjoy a Self Catering Holiday In Cornwall

April 25th, 2009

By David Lloyd

Because of the recession, and the weakness of the pound against other currencies, it is expected that there will be a marked increase in people taking their annual holidays in the UK this year and many of them will be opting for self catering holidays in Cornwall. For many British families, it has become just that bit too expensive to go abroad this year. In the EU, the Euro is enjoying virtual parity with the Pound which makes the usual destinations in the Med economically somewhat unattractive at present. For overseas visitors, the favourable exchange rate means that there has never been a better time to visit the UK, and soak up its traditions and culture.

Some people are also predicting a fine summer this year, and beautiful, leisurely summer days spent in Cornwall are pure magic, whether you spend them on Cornwall’s gorgeous, golden beaches, walking the coast paths, visiting ancient sites; stately homes, art galleries and museums, or whether you just want to tuck into a delicious cream tea.

If you are anticipating visiting Cornwall this year, there are many options for you to choose from as far as accommodation is concerned. For the budget conscious there are many excellent camp sites at one end of the scale, while those with deeper pockets can enjoy the height of luxury in some of the houses available, and for those inbetween there are caravan parks, guest houses, hotels (both cheap and expensive), and most people’s favourite, with their offer of freedom and comfort, self catering Cornwall properties.

The traditional industries of Cornwall were farming, fishing, and mining, but these have long since given way to tourism as the main industry in Cornwall.

This change has meant that considerable numbers of properties in the county have been re-purposed to serve this important money spinner for the local economy. What used to be fishermen’s cottages in pretty little fishing villages are now well appointed, comfortable self catering accommodation, and the same holds true for old agricultural cottages, and even miners cottages up on the secluded moors, and of course there are also many fine new purpose built self catering homes.

If you are wondering how to go about finding your ideal self catering holiday home in Cornwall, well, these days it couldn’t be easier. You just need to log onto the internet and let Google do your research for you. You will be presented with a mind-boggling array of properties to choose from.

Make sure that the property you select meets your basic requirements in terms of the actual accommodation offered. For example, are there enough bedrooms for your party, are the bathrooms and kitchen up to scratch? To you have access to a good modern TV, Sky, Freeview, DVD, CD player and so on? Take little time to do your research. Also check to see exactly what comes with your booking in terms of supplied linen, heating and so forth.

Once you have found and chosen your holiday hideaway, it is only necessary to decide how you will spend your time in your little paradise.

Business Travel Tips #3

April 24th, 2009

By Gary Mooney

Many corporations’s customer base has become more ‘global’ in recent years and as a result many business people have to travel more widely; with the global popularity of the Internet, even tiny companies can compete, and have customers anywhere. This is putting an increasing strain on business travelers who often become stressed and fatigued at the constant need to be in another part of the world. Business travel tips are useful to regular travelers by ensuring certain procedures are carried out every time they travel to reduce the possibility of wasted trips.

One thing that you will not be able to avoid at some point if you take enough trips is that of lost luggage which can be a real problem if your baggage contains information relevant to your trip. To reduce the chance of a wasted journey, always carry anything that is relevant to your trip in your hand carried luggage.

This makes a great deal of sense because you are protected should your main luggage go missing then your meeting can still go ahead and hopefully your main luggage will be located in due course. Regular travelers know that the main business travel tip when packing is to keep things simple by only including exactly what you need for the journey and that way you won’t be out of luck if luggage gets lost.

For simplicity just work out how many days you will be at your destination and pack accordingly, remembering to pack a few items of casual wear plus just enough pieces of footwear to last; this would be one pair for work and another pair for play. All that is left once this is done is to include your toiletries and other business documentation which you might use.

A little business travel tip that flight attendants use when they pack is to roll up their clothes, then place them into cylinders which compresses the clothing and reduces the number of creases. To go one step further, if you want to ensure that even if food or drink are spilled on your clothes you won’t need them laundered; use dark colors which are also handy because creases don’t show as much.

If you are working to a tight schedule and the inevitable delay happens then you want to know you can attend a meeting at a moments notice and the way to freshen up is by using those hand and face wipes that come in travel packs. If you only intend to be away for a couple of days, a normal charge for a cell phone and other electronic equipment may be enough but if the trip is longer you may need to take chargers with you for convenience.

As it is possible to carry out work while you fly, by making the best use of this time you will be able to spend some time relaxing in the evening and perhaps a little site seeing. By following these few quick and handy tips you should find that you will not be on the back foot and no matter what happens during your travel on business, you should have a successful trip.

Your business trips do not have to be boring and stressful if you apply the business travel tips in this article as they will allow you the opportunity to savor your free time even more.

How To Find Best Hotel Deals And Cheap Holidays

April 23rd, 2009

By Matt

Finding a hotel with low cost and convenient location is definitely something we all consider while searching for cheap package holidays abroad, flights or cruises. When it comes to traveling in major cities or popular attractions, visitors are bound to shell out more money if the hotel is closer to the city or attraction point.

Staying in the suburbs is often considered to be the best way to save money. But, it might cost you more in terms of time wasted in reaching a place, or an additional money spent on gasoline. Travelers should make sure to compute all these costs so that they do not end up spending really low but on a less convenient hotel.

There are many last minute all inclusive holiday deals available through which you can save big bucks at hotels without compromising on quality and commuting factor. If you are a defence officer, or have a senior citizen status, you are entitled to family discounts when booking hotel rooms. There are many credit cards and auto clubs like offering discount schemes to their members. So, before you check in to a hotel room, enquire about the available discounts.

Most of us don’t know that self catering cottages and hotels have some reserved low cost rooms that are available at low prices. If you try to book the last room at a hotel, it will be costly than the first one. So, try to shop for a hotel room as early as possible to get the best deal. But living in a budget hotel should not mean compromising with the safety and cleanliness options. Make sure that the hotel is situated at a good place and has high standards of hygiene.

Before you book a luxury hotel, if possible, check out the nearby attractions and proximity of the place from restaurants. This will save you from staying at a dangerous and a far away neighbourhood.

For finding a bargain hotel, it is always advisable to consider recommendations of others who have been to that particular place. They are the best source to tell about the safety, quality standards as well as services of the hotel. Who knows you can even get to know the name of the finest restaurant or a cheap shopping area.

Internet is another option for getting information about hotel bargains. Many hotels feature pictures of their rooms, tariff, available packages and sometimes the route map. The information will definitely make your task of finding a good hotel easier. Along with this, there are many websites where travelers post reviews about a place or a hotel. You can also consider their suggestions before booking a late hotel room in the winter or summer.

Finding a good budget hotel near the beach or attraction point is not at all a difficult task, if you will seek help from all the discussed sources. This will not only save your money, but also double the entire holiday experience.
